Once again Pacelli will have covered the July demo in detail, but I must congratulate the chapter Committee. They not only secured a demonstrator with an international reputation, but they have greatly improved the audio-visual equipment. The new sound system and the large bright picture on the TV monitor meant that Nick’s fascinating presentation was very comprehensible to all. If I had only seen the finished article - an imaginatively decorated sycamore bowl - there is no earthly way I would have attempted to turn one. Having sat through the session with Nick I will now certainly have a go! And isn’t that why we have demonstrators in the first place? If any of us needed further................
